Born in Kingston Jamaica, Daydrielane Osorio is a photographer, writer,  and entrepreneur.   Her formal training in the fine arts began at the Edna Manley College of Visual and Performing Arts, Jamaica in 2002. While attending college, she successfully operated a photography studio in the heart of downtown Kingston.  There, she found a love for portrait photography and the transformational force it had on ordinary people.

Origin: Kingston, Jamaica
Favorite book: The Elegance of the Hedgehog by Muriel Barbery
Inspiration: I am inspired by childhood memories
Passion: I have a passion to connect with people through photography
Personal style: Eclectic
Favorite food: My mother makes a killer curried goat! It’s to die for!

In 2004 , I left Jamaica to pursue my passion for the arts at Bennington College in Vermont. While at Bennington, I was introduced to historical processing methods to print photographs. These methods are not only beautiful, but they possess the ability to present images with a wide array of characteristics, thus rendering a beautifully captured image timeless.

I invite you to a personal session with me. Allow me to take amazing photographs of you and then personally hand print them so you can own the best photographs of yourself to display proudly in your home!
